Abstract

This article is interested on how features about vote and the elections are dealt within a little corpus of Memorias de Prueba (dissertation). Focusing on the analyses of three big topics –electoral regularity, electoral modernity and elitistexclusion–, the text search to give an answer to the question about the characterization of the elections work during a certain period (1897-1920).In this way, we discover historical and complementary evidence about the three-dominant thesis in the field, aimingto understand in a deeper perspective, the wide transformation seen on the electoral field.
