Roman citizens under flavios and antoninos

Abstract

This paper presents the roman citizenship spreading subject during the Flavian and Antonin dynasties. The Flavian government is analyzed, especially the Vespasian's reign, studying Vespasian's main decisions related to citizenship, and making an emphasis in the Edict of Latinitas granted to citizens of Hispania. Then, the period of the Antonines is studied. Their government and especially the Elio Aristide's speech to Rome and the spreading of the culture achieved, due to the Caesars' decisions made by this dynasty.
