Abstract
In this article we study and evoke the personal, academic and university figure of Prof. Jesus Lalinde Abadía, in his triple dimension of researcher, pedagogical and teaching. as a Chairman of History of Spanish law and Institutions at the Universities of La Laguna, San Sebastian, Zaragoza and Barcelona, Prof. Lalinde Abadía is an author with a wide and acknowledged scientific production with different lines of research: History of Institutions, legal Historiography, concept and methodological aspects of legal History, Criminal, Private and the law of the Procedure under their historic points of view, the sources of Spanish law and textbooks. For all these research and publications, Prof. Lalinde Abadía is one of the most distinguished representatives of the Spanish, European and Universal legal Historiography.
