Melchor bravo de sarabia (1512 – 1577) first member of the school of san clemente de bolonia in the indian judgeship and his family of attorneys
Abstract
Melchor Bravo de Sarabia, chairman founder of the Real Audiencia of Concepcion in the kingdom of Chile, was the first student of the School of San Clemente de Bolonia in holding an attorney post in the Nuevo. This paper examines his career in the judgeship of the Monarchy, and that of his descendants, who managed to hold lawyer posts until about the middle of the XVIII century, by means of different family alliances resources.
