The apostolic authority in the portuguese and castilian ultramarine bulls
Abstract
This paper is about the apostolic authority and the use of this expression by the popes. The different interventions and their base are analysed: the alleged omniinsular theory, sometimes provoked by the princes, sometimes not leaded and, finally, the discussed clause de motu proprio.
