Historia del derecho de minas en el rosellón, andorra y cataluña (1ª parte)
Abstract
This is a review of the historic mining legislation in Rosellón, Andorra and Catalonia, from its remotest precedents until the dissemination of the Castilian law from the XVIII century in the ancient Principality's territory. The analysis focuses on the main problem: the ownership of mines and is broadened to address the ever-lasting need for franchising mining exploitation in the legislation of the South of France and in that of the territories to which this article refers.
