Abstract

The medieval fuero of Miranda de Ebro regulated different crimes of a libidinous nature, of enormous interest due to their originality. We will carefully study the regulations on adultery, rape and fornication in the fuero of Miranda, delving into the Visigothic origins of the legislation and later peninsular laws, which facilitate our interpretation.

Doctor en Historia por la Universidad de Sevilla. Licenciado en Derecho y graduado en Historia por la Universidad de Sevilla y licenciado en Antropología Social y Cultural por la Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia. Profesor sustituto interino del Departamento de Geografía, Historia y Filosofía de la Universidad Pablo de Olavide y del Departamento de Historia Medieval de la Universidad de Sevilla.
